Prescriptions

If you are using prescription medications, please call for a refill at least two days before the supply runs out. Many pharmacies close on holidays. Prescriptions for controlled substances, such as narcotics and sleeping pills, can be handled only during regular business hours.

This pharmacy is located three blocks south of the Metrodome (see map). MetroTransit bus lines to this pharmacy are 5, 8, 14, and 22.

Refills

If your pharmacy is at HCMC

If your pharmacy is at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC), call 612-347-6151 for refills. If your prescription does not allow any more refills, call your HFA clinic and they will arrange for a renewal.

When you call, have your prescription label handy and provide the following information:

• your name
• your date of birth
• the name of your medication
• the dosage of your medication
• directions for the use of your medication

If your pharmacy is NOT at HCMC

If you use another pharmacy, call them for a refill. If you do not have any more refills, the pharmacy will call your HFA clinic and arrange for a renewal.
