Dr. Linzer is Director of the Division of General Internal Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center. He graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Following his residency training at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, he has had several teaching positions at prestigious institutions.
In addition to his leadership positions, he is highly involved as a clinician, teacher, and researcher. He has special interests in syncope (blackout spells). He has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals, and has been invited to speak on various subjects nationally and internationally.
