A native Minnesotan, she returned to Minnesota after completing her internal medicine residency training at the University of Vermont. She completed an additional year as Chief Resident and developed an avid interest in professionalism, accountability, and quality-measured outcomes.
Dr. Schermerhorn serves as a hospitalist member, caring exclusively for patients admitted to the hospital and working with primary physicians to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home.
