Dr. Van Schyndel earned his medical degree in 2001 from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in 2004. He then practiced in an internal medicine clinic before returning to Hennepin County Medical Center in 2008. He is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Schyndel serves as a hospitalist member, caring exclusively for patients admitted to the hospital and working with primary physicians to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home.
