Dr. Van Camp is currently Chief of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1989. He received his general surgery residency training at the University of Michigan Hospitals in 1995, and his thoracic surgery residency at the Medical College of Virginia in 1997. He is board certified in general surgery, surgical critical care and thoracic surgery.
Dr. Van Camp is a member of several organizations including the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, Minnesota Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Minnesota Surgical Society Board of Directors, Twin Cities Thoracic Surgery, Minnesota Medical Society, Hennepin Medical Society and the Hitchcock Surgical Society.
