Dr. Wiersgalla is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Minnesota Psychiatric Society. Her interests include general adult psychiatry, severe and persistent mental illness, psychopharmacology, and women's mental health. She sees patients over the age of 18 who have a variety of psychiatric concerns in the Adult Psychiatry Clinic. She also sees patients as part of the Hennepin Women's Mental Health Program, providing psychiatric care for women with depression, anxiety, and other emotional concerns before, during or after pregnancy or during other reproductive transitions (e.g. premenstrually or around menopause).
